Members of the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control and Disaster Prevention of Tam Chung commune propagate and mobilize people to proactively prevent storm No. 3.

In particular, on the afternoon of July 21, the commune organized an emergency evacuation of 15 households with 94 people in high-risk areas such as Phai and Suoi Long villages to safe places such as schools, cultural houses and relatives' houses. The local government also fully prepared essential necessities such as instant noodles, rice, clean water... to serve people during the storm.

Up to now, Tam Chung commune has not recorded any damage to people, houses, traffic infrastructure, irrigation and aquaculture. However, in Suoi Long village, 1.85 hectares of corn were affected, with a damage level of less than 30%.

The commune is continuing to maintain a 24/7 on-duty regime, closely monitoring weather developments, being ready to evacuate people when necessary, while promoting propaganda and providing guidance on storm response skills through the grassroots information system.

Hundreds of hectares of rice and crops in Quang Binh were flooded due to storms and rains.

As of 11:00 a.m. on July 22, Quang Binh commune had evacuated 30 households with 93 people in coastal villages and their assets from areas at risk of flooding due to storms and high tides when the storm makes landfall, while also arranging temporary accommodation and providing essential supplies to the households.

The entire Quang Binh commune currently has nearly 130 hectares of rice and crops completely flooded, some residential roads have been partially flooded due to heavy rain. As a coastal commune of Quang Binh with a 4.5 km coastline, including 11 coastal villages, to ensure the safety of people and property, the Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Disaster Prevention of Quang Binh commune has focused on directing the villages to resolutely evacuate households, especially the elderly and children, out of areas at high risk of being unsafe when the storm makes landfall, focusing on clearing the flow of water to drain water promptly to ensure the safety of rice and crops.
