At the border of Ia O, Ia Grai, Gia Lai province, the population is mainly Jarai ethnic people, with difficult economic conditions. Therefore, children's learning conditions are also disadvantaged. Schools have poor facilities, lack of teachers and learning equipment; desks, chairs and basic teaching tools are still lacking. In addition, difficult traffic problems also affect the transportation of students and teachers, especially during the rainy season.
In order to encourage students to go to school, Mr. Kpuih Mon - a teacher at Bui Thi Xuan Primary School, along with 30 teachers in the school, have made a plan to maintain the number of students and ensure the quality of education for students in the 2024-2025 school year.
“As a teacher with more than 10 years of experience, I always strive to maintain a stable student population at the school. During the past school year, I continued to innovate teaching methods and closely follow each student, encouraging them to attend class regularly. To help Jarai students access knowledge quickly, I am always close and create a comfortable atmosphere so that they do not feel self-conscious or shy. Second, I convey knowledge in an easy-to-understand way, helping them absorb it easily. I also combine learning with games to make the lessons lively and fun, thereby attracting students to actively participate and learn. I have applied these methods and hope that in the future, there will be more useful programs for students,” said Mr. Kpuih Mon.
