In the 7th game against Iran, the Vietnamese chess team had a notable change when 15-year-old player Bang Gia Huy was chosen to play at table 4, replacing Tran Tuan Minh. In the previous 2 consecutive games, Tran Tuan Minh lost and was under some pressure, so the Vietnamese team made a change at the last table, unfortunately this did not bring about results.
