On behalf of the provincial leaders, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Thanh Do expressed his pleasure to welcome Mr. Nikorndej Balankura, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to Vietnam and members of the working delegation to visit and work in Dien Bien province. On this occasion, Dien Bien province wishes to, through the Ambassador, introduce and connect Thai partners to cooperate with Dien Bien province; strengthen the relationship between the northeastern provinces of Thailand and Dien Bien province in a number of areas, such as: cooperation in tourism development, agriculture (especially high-tech agriculture ), renewable energy, education and training, etc.
Mr. Nikorndej Balankura expressed his gratitude to the leaders of Dien Bien province for taking the time to receive him solemnly and thoughtfully. Mr. Nikorndej Balankura affirmed the good cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Thailand; at the same time, expressed his interest in connecting Thai organizations and enterprises to survey and cooperate in investing with Dien Bien province in agricultural projects, especially in the field of agricultural product processing. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand is also willing to connect Thai travel associations with Dien Bien province to promote the image of Dien Bien province to the Northeastern and Northern provinces of Thailand; committed to supporting Dien Bien to call for Thai investors to invest in the locality in areas where the province has strengths.
