Speed up the progress of temporary housing demolition

The Government Office has just issued Notice No. 338/TB-VPCP on the conclusion of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at the 15th meeting of the Central Steering Committee on eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide.

The Prime Minister directed: The Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions to continue to update and clearly identify difficulties and problems of localities to proactively resolve them according to its authority; preside over and coordinate with the Ministry of Construction , the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the Ministry of Finance and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to decide to adjust the support budget from the funds mobilized from the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands to fix dilapidated houses" and from the Launching Program to support the difference in housing prices from the 2 National Target Programs starting construction in 2025.

The Ministry of Construction continues to urge localities to urgently implement housing support for people with revolutionary contributions and relatives of martyrs and housing support for poor and near-poor households under the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction to complete the assigned goals (before July 27, 2025).

The People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities direct departments, branches and sectors, especially heads of local authorities and Heads of Steering Committees at all levels, to resolutely implement the Program to accelerate progress and basically complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the area before August 31, 2025.

Urgently complete the support for eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for families of people with revolutionary contributions and relatives of martyrs before July 27, 2025.

Timely review and strengthen the Steering Committees at all levels in localities in accordance with the model after arrangement to direct the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the locality.

For localities with temporary and dilapidated houses that have not yet started construction, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, the City Party Committee, and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directed the simultaneous implementation of construction, striving to complete and hand over to the people before August 15, 2025.
