On December 23, the Urban Traffic Management and Operation Center said that the Department of Transport of Can Tho City has just issued an official dispatch adjusting the starting and ending points of the bus route in O Mon district.
According to the Can Tho Department of Transport, from September 2020 to present, the Department assigned the Urban Traffic Management and Operation Center to coordinate with Phuong Trang Passenger Transport Joint Stock Company - FUTA Bus Lines to put into operation 11 intra-provincial bus routes in the area.
Can Tho adjusts bus starting and ending points in O Mon district.
There are 5 bus routes including Ba Lang – O Mon; O Mon – Lo Te intersection; O Mon – Co Do; Phong Dien – Lo Te Ba Se – O Mon; Ba Lang (Cai Rang district) – Tra Noc Industrial Park – O Mon with starting and ending points in O Mon district (address: Hoa Thanh A area, Thoi Hoa ward, O Mon district).
On December 12, Phuong Trang Passenger Transport Joint Stock Company - FUTA Bus Lines sent an official dispatch requesting to adjust the starting and ending points of O Mon district buses to the address: Hoa Thanh A area, Thoi Hoa ward, O Mon district, Can Tho city.
In the official dispatch, the Department of Transport requested the People's Committee of O Mon district to support and create favorable conditions for Phuong Trang Passenger Transport Joint Stock Company - Futa Bus Lines to organize the implementation of the starting and ending points of buses in O Mon district conveniently, ensuring security and traffic safety during operation.
Can Tho has 11 inner-city bus routes in operation. Phuong Trang Passenger Transport Joint Stock Company - FUTA Bus Lines is the route operator.
Bus routes include: Ba Lang - O Mon; O Mon - Lo Te intersection; Song Hau park - Phong Dien town; Can Tho International Airport - Can Tho city central bus station; O Mon - Co Do town; Lo Te - Kinh B intersection; Lo Te intersection - Co Do town; Phong Dien - Lo Te Ba Se - O Mon; Phong Dien - Thoi Lai; Ba Lang - Tra Noc Industrial Park - O Mon.
Up to now, due to objective conditions, the Department of Transport has agreed to temporarily suspend the bus route from Hau River Park to Phong Dien town and the route from Can Tho International Airport to Can Tho city central bus station.
At the same time, adjust operations for some bus routes in the city.
Specifically, for the O Mon - Vinh Thanh route, the Can Tho City Department of Transport approved the extension of the route from Co Do town to Thoi Dong commune (Co Do district).
Phong Dien - Lo Te Ba Se - O Mon bus route, agreed to extend the route from Phong Dien district to the city center and Can Tho International Airport.
