In the Euro 2024 final that took place early this morning (July 15), Spain defeated England 2-1. The match took place at the Olympiastadion in Berlin (Germany).
After this match, coach Luis de la Fuente spoke up: "I am really happy, Spain has just affirmed its position as the number one team in Europe. I am proud of what we have just done."

The Spanish team won Euro 2024 with a perfect record. They are the second team in Euro history (after France in 1984) to win all matches (in 120 minutes) in the Euro finals.
According to Luis de la Fuente, the Spanish team will even play better in the following years, playing better than themselves at Euro 2024.

The coach of the Spanish team shared: "The advantage of the team I am coaching is that they are always improving. The Spanish team currently has very good players."
