At the conference, the Deputy Director of the Land Department disseminated the important new contents and points of the 2024 Land Law. The Law consists of 16 chapters and 260 articles; of which, 180 articles are amended and supplemented and 78 new articles are added with many outstanding new points. Specifically: Removing the land price framework, regulating 4 methods for determining land prices; adding many cases of exemption and reduction of land use fees; diversifying forms of compensation for people whose land is recovered; adding support for people whose land is recovered; Vietnamese people residing abroad are granted expanded land use rights; expanding the limit for receiving transfer of agricultural land use rights of individuals; amending the method of determining taxable income from real estate transfers, etc.

Concluding the conference, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: The Land Law 2024 is an important law, having a positive impact on people, businesses and all aspects of economic , cultural, social, national defense and security life, meeting the requirements of perfecting synchronous policies and laws on land management and use.

Through the conference, in order to raise awareness and effectiveness of land law enforcement in the province, reduce violations of the law and complaints and denunciations arising in the land sector. In order for the 2024 Land Law to soon come into practice, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested departments, branches, and localities to continue to research; organize implementation, and widely disseminate the contents of the Law to cadres, civil servants, public employees, and people. Along with that, promptly advise the Provincial People's Council and Provincial People's Committee to issue detailed regulations on the implementation of the Law that the Provincial People's Committee has assigned the responsibility to develop specifically for each unit in order to create a complete, unified, synchronous legal corridor, promptly and effectively implemented.
