iOS 18.1 has second public beta

After more than a week of releasing the first public beta of iOS.1 18 to users worldwide , the company has recently released the second public beta.

As such, users who have signed up for Apple's beta testing program can also download and install iOS 18.1 and preview upcoming features on iPhone including Apple Intelligence features.

iOS 18.1 brings the first features of Apple Intelligence such as: Writing Tools, Reduce Interruptions, notification summaries, writing tools to edit and rewrite text, smarter Siri, cleaning in the Photos app... and is expected to be officially released in October.

It is known that the public beta 1 version is based on the recent 5 developer test versions.

If you are already a member of Apple's public beta program, you can download the update by going to Settings - Software Update - Public Beta Options. Or you can also sign up for the program for free via Apple's website, then install the update.

Note: Apple Intelligence features require a compatible device. If you're using an older iPhone to install iOS 18.1 beta 2, you won't be able to access any of the AI capabilities.

Devices supported by AI feature include: iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 16 series.

Some of the new features in iOS 18.1 beta 2 are: Control Center has two new connection controls: wifi and VPN; iPhone Mirroring supports drag and drop when running the new beta; iPhone 16's Camera Control adds the ability to switch to the selfie camera; Apple Intelligence writing tools have been added to the Notes app toolbar...
