This afternoon, September 11, at Khe May artificial football field, Dong Ha city, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Tri province organized the opening ceremony of the 2024 Quang Tri Province 7-a-side Football Championship.

The tournament took place from September 11 to 16, gathering more than 100 players from 7 teams in the districts: Vinh Linh, Gio Linh, Hai Lang, Cam Lo, Trieu Phong, Dong Ha City and the Provincial Police. The 7 teams were divided into 2 groups A and B, competing in a round robin to calculate points, selecting the 4 teams with the highest and second highest scores in the 2 groups to compete in the semi-finals and finals.
The tournament is organized to create a healthy and useful playground for players and football lovers to meet, exchange, share expertise and compete; at the same time, evaluate the quality of football movements in localities and units; encourage people of all walks of life to practice sports and improve their health.
