DISCOVER THE AMAZING WORLD OF MUSHROOMS THROUGH A VIRTUAL REALITY LEARNING SPACE

Lesson 19 in the 4th grade Science program with the topic “Diversity of mushrooms” does not stop at learning names or colors. Now, thanks to VR360 and 3D technology on the YooLife platform, students can “enter” the world of mushrooms throughout the lesson – intuitive, vivid, and full of excitement.

Instead of approaching lessons through static pictures or descriptive lectures, with YooLife's VR360 technology, students can "set foot" in a virtual forest - where mushrooms grow in a humid space, natural light and a unique ecological environment. The 360-degree panoramic view allows students to observe every angle as if they were actually present at the scene, bringing a sense of authenticity and a highly immersive learning experience. As a result, the boundary between textbook lessons and the real natural world is significantly narrowed, creating a direct connection between knowledge and perception.

In addition to the VR360 experience, each mushroom species in the lesson is simulated into a sharp, detailed 3D model. Students can rotate, zoom in, and observe the structure of each part such as the cap, stem, hyphae, spore layer... from every angle. Instead of having to imagine through descriptions, they can "see to understand", thereby improving their ability to memorize and analyze. The special thing is that each model integrates accompanying information, thereby helping learning no longer stop at the form of memorization, but become an active, natural, and engaging discovery process.

The introduction of VR360 and 3D technology into 4th grade Science lessons is not only an innovation for learners, but also expands the ability of teachers to organize lectures. Teachers can flexibly build group exploration activities, invite students to "visit" the virtual space, then discuss, answer questions, and even record observation diaries. The combination of visual images and academic content makes lectures many times more effective than traditional methods. Students actively access knowledge, teachers become instructors - creating conditions for the development of self-study capacity, critical thinking and scientific communication.

Lesson 19 – “Diversity of Mushrooms” – when deployed through the VR360 platform and YooLife’s 3D model, has become a typical example of a modern learning model, where technology plays a powerful supporting role in accessing knowledge. The learning space is no longer limited to the classroom, but is expanded by experience – helping students feel more deeply, remember longer and apply more effectively.

In the context of innovative education oriented towards capacity development, such lessons not only teach students about biology, but also inspire love of nature, critical thinking and the spirit of scientific discovery. That is the foundation for a generation of students who are active learners – learning through observation, experience and practical connections.
