The Nam Quang Nam Solid Waste Treatment Area Project, a domestic solid waste treatment area using sanitary landfill method, has a total investment of 156 billion VND, including 2 phases, implementation period 2022 - 2026; to date, 53.6 billion VND has been allocated, disbursement reaching 74.6%.
The project uses 17.48 hectares of production forest land, of which 13 hectares are owned by local people (to date, 3.6 hectares have not yet been handed over).
Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Nam Hung assigned the People's Committee of Nui Thanh commune to organize propaganda to mobilize people to hand over the site before August 30.

Currently, the dredging project (package 15) and the road project (package 16) have not been handed over the site in a synchronized manner, so the construction is slow, leading to delays, greatly affecting the project implementation and disbursement.
In addition, about 50 illegal aquaculture cages of households have not been relocated.
The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee assigned the People's Committee of Nui Thanh commune to propagate, mobilize and persuade people to complete the relocation of cages and rafts by August 30 at the latest.
The total approved investment of Nui Thanh High School project is 60 billion VND, project implementation period is 2022 - 2025. The allocated capital is 31.79 billion VND, disbursed 47.2%.
The project implementation encountered difficulties when there was still an area of about 1.47 hectares of garden and auxiliary items that had not been leveled due to lack of source of fill materials.
The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee agreed on the policy of studying the surplus land in Tam My Industrial Cluster to build the project foundation, and at the same time assigned the Land Fund Development Center to prepare procedures based on the guidance of the City Department of Agriculture and Environment.
At the same time, it was agreed to add investment in phase 2 of the project in the medium-term capital plan for 2026 - 2030...
