Establish 99 commune-level electronic information portals

Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee requested Vietnam Telecommunications Group to deploy technical infrastructure conditions for the merger of the two Lao Cai and Yen Bai electronic information portals according to the operating schedule of the two-level local government and 99 commune-level component electronic information portals from July 1, 2025.

Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee requested Vietnam Telecommunications Group to deploy technical infrastructure conditions for the merger of the two Lao Cai and Yen Bai electronic information portals according to the operating schedule of the two-level local government and 99 commune-level component electronic information portals from July 1, 2025.

* Merging the Electronic Information Portals of Lao Cai and Yen Bai provinces

The Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee has just issued a document requesting Vietnam Telecommunications Group to implement the merger of Lao Cai Provincial Electronic Information Portal and Yen Bai Provincial Electronic Information Portal.

Accordingly, all data and resources from Yen Bai Provincial Electronic Information Portal will be transferred to Lao Cai Provincial Electronic Information Portal after the merger; Lao Cai Provincial Electronic Information Portal will be kept intact and all data and resources from Yen Bai Provincial Electronic Information Portal will be transferred to Lao Cai Provincial Electronic Information Portal after the merger.

After the merger, the new Lao Cai Provincial Portal System will have: Provincial brand recognition with the unchanged name (Lao Cai province), with the available domain name laocai.gov.vn in accordance with legal regulations.

The provincial e-portal merges 3 agencies (Provincial Party Committee - National Assembly Delegation and Provincial People's Council - Provincial People's Committee) into one main portal: Lao Cai Provincial e-portal and more than 150 component e-portals, including:

Portals of Party agencies, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and socio-political organizations of the province, and special agencies.

15 component portals of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and Provincial People's Council; Office of the Provincial People's Committee; departments, branches and sectors of the province.

The electronic portals of central agencies and vertical sectors located in the province and other units and organizations.

Establish 99 commune-level information portals.

Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee also requested Vietnam Telecommunications Group to deploy technical infrastructure conditions for the establishment of 99 commune-level e-government portals according to the schedule of operating two-level local government from July 1, 2025.
