According to the data in the clip, the incident happened around 10am on the same day. At that time, a car (license plate unknown) was parked at a three-way intersection in Tuyen Quang City, Tuyen Quang Province. The car driver suddenly opened the car door, causing a motorbike going in the same direction to crash into it.
The collision was so strong that the motorcyclist fell out into the middle of the road and rolled several times. At that moment, a pickup truck (license plate unknown) came by. Fortunately, the pickup truck driver was able to swerve in time to avoid hitting the motorcyclist who had just fallen onto the road.
Immediately after the clip was posted, many people expressed their dissatisfaction with the male driver’s unsafe act of opening the car door, causing a traffic accident. At the same time, they praised the timely steering of the pickup truck driver to avoid hitting the motorcyclist.
It is known that according to Decree 168/2024, drivers who "open the car door or leave the car door open unsafely" will be fined from 4 to 6 million VND. If the act of opening the car door unsafely causes a traffic accident, they will be fined from 20 to 22 million VND and have 10 points deducted from their driver's license.
