According to the bulletin of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, from the night of March 18, in the Gulf of Tonkin, there will be strong northeast winds of level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8; during the day and night of March 19, in the North East Sea, there will be strong northeast winds of level 6-7, gusting to level 8-9; the sea area from Ninh Thuan to Ca Mau will have strong northeast winds of level 6, gusting to level 7-8.

Implementing the direction of the National Steering Committee on natural disaster prevention and control, proactively responding to strong winds at sea, the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control - Search and Rescue and Civil Defense requests the Steering Committees for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control - Search and Rescue and Civil Defense of coastal districts and towns and related agencies and units to:

Closely monitor information and developments of strong winds at sea; notify captains and owners of vehicles and vessels operating at sea to proactively prevent and have appropriate production plans, ensuring safety of people and property; maintain communication to promptly handle bad situations that may occur.

In particular, prepare forces and means to deploy rescue work when there is a situation. At the same time, strengthen information and communication work on weather developments, natural disasters and measures to respond to strong winds at sea on mass media so that people can proactively prevent and minimize damage.

The units organize their duty seriously and regularly report to the Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense.
