Mr. Cu Xuan Tien, Head of Admissions and Student Affairs Department, University of Economics and Law, said that the school will recruit 6 groups including: A00, A01, D07, X25, X26, in which the groups X25 and X26 are new compared to 2024. Because there are 2 main subjects for admission, Math and English, the expected benchmark score this year will decrease by about 0.5-1.5 compared to 2024.
"Hot" majors such as International Business, E-commerce, International Economics, Marketing, and Economic Law often have high competition and attract many candidates, so the reduction in benchmark scores will be less than other majors.
On the contrary, new majors/specializations such as Civil Law (English); Applied Mathematics in Economics, Management and Finance (English); Financial Technology (Co-operative Education Program); Management Information Systems (Co-operative Education Program) bring many opportunities for candidates to choose.
Mr. Tien predicts that this year the majors with high benchmark scores at the school are E-commerce, Marketing, International Business, International Economics, and International Trade Law.
Mr. Pham Thai Son, Admissions Director - Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade, said that majors such as Marketing, Logistics and Supply Chain, International Business, Accounting, and Information Technology will have the highest admission scores at the school.

However, Mr. Son expects this year's benchmark score to decrease by about 1 point compared to last year. Majors such as Banking and Finance, Food Technology, Electronics... will have admission scores of about 20 to 22. Other majors such as Mechanics, Sewing, Biotechnology,... will have admission scores of about 16-20.
At Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, the school representative expected that some majors will have high admission scores in 2025 such as: Computer Science , Computer Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Logistics and Industrial Systems, Data Science, Electrical - Electronics - Telecommunications - Automation - Microchip Design... These are majors with traditionally high scores at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan Dung, Director of the Media Center - Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, predicts that in 2025, the majors that have traditionally attracted many candidates in recent years will still be in the group of majors with high benchmark scores such as: Information Technology, Automotive Engineering Technology, Multimedia Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Graphic Design... However, because the score range of the high school graduation exam in 2025 tends to decrease compared to last year, the benchmark scores of these majors this year may decrease slightly by about 1-2 points compared to 2024.
Mr. Le Van Hien, Deputy Head of the Training Department - Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, believes that the majors of International Trade Law, Administration - Law and Law will have the highest benchmark scores in 2025. This prediction is based on the benchmark scores and brands of these majors in recent years.
In 2024, the benchmark scores for the majors of International Commercial Law, Administration - Law and Law are very high. In these majors, candidates must achieve each subject with a score of over 8 points, even over 9 points for block C00 to be admitted.
Specifically, the benchmark score for the International Commercial Law major is 26.1 for blocks A01, D01, D66, D84. Meanwhile, the benchmark score for the Administration - Law major is 24.87 for block D84; 24.17 for block A00; 23.87 for block D01 and 23.37 for block A01. The benchmark score for the Law major in 2024 is 24.57 for block A00; 27.27 for block C00; 23.77 for block A01 and 24.27 for blocks D01, D03, D06.
In addition, according to Mr. Hien, this year the school opened a new major, International Business, and it is expected that this major will attract many candidates. The reason is that this training program has a harmonious combination of two important fields in management and business activities: law and international business.
"The training program not only equips students with knowledge of business administration, import-export and logistics, but also provides them with a legal foundation in intellectual property management, technology transfer, international business, trade in services, negotiation and contract drafting.
This is very important in the context of international integration, helping graduates from the school to be able to handle legal issues arising in international business transactions and international trade services, something that not many training programs at other universities, including foreign ones, equip students with," said Mr. Hien.
