The mother caused a stir when she brought a photo of her child's idol to encourage her child to take the 2023 high school graduation exam.
This afternoon, at the gate of Viet Duc High School, many parents and candidates were surprised to see Ms. Pham Hong Yen (Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi ) bringing a photo of her idol to cheer for her daughter.
" My daughter has been a fan of this band since 6th grade. So I prepared a board with a picture of her idol and a message to give her the mental strength to do well in the exam," said Ms. Yen.
My Tam (12D3 student, Viet Duc High School) is happy with a surprise gift from her mother.
At 4:15 p.m., when My Tam walked out of the schoolyard, her mother held up the photo and called her puppet. Tam ran quickly toward her mother with a bright smile. Tam was happy to receive a surprise gift from her mother. This year, the female student wished to pass the entrance exam to the Academy of Posts and Telecommunications with the admission combination of block D (Math - Literature - English).
" This morning my child finished the Literature test at a fair level because he studied hard. I don't put too much emphasis on the score, but my child is always self-aware and studies by himself, " said Ms. Yen.
This afternoon, June 28, candidates completed the 90-minute Math test in the form of a multiple-choice test. On June 29, candidates continued to take the Foreign Language test and one of two combined tests: Natural Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and Social Sciences (History, Geography, Civic Education for general education ; or History, Geography for continuing education ).
About one million candidates are expected to take the exam. According to the Ministry of Education and Training, the content of the 2023 high school graduation exam will mainly be in the 12th grade curriculum.
