Quang Ngai female student was beaten up by a gang in a coffee plantation

On the afternoon of July 20, Ms. Tran Thi Yen - Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Mar commune ( Quang Ngai province) said that the commune had grasped the situation of the incident and had worked with the relatives of the female student who was beaten by a group of people.

“The initial investigation determined that the incident occurred at a coffee plantation in Dak Ha commune. On Monday, the local authorities will discuss with Dak Ha commune police to coordinate and invite the group that beat the female student to interrogate,” said Ms. Yen.

Although he has only received initial information from the family, the Chairman of the Dak Mar Commune People's Committee shared that school violence and group beatings are unacceptable behaviors. The government will handle them strictly and coordinate with schools, families, etc. to educate children who commit violent acts.

Ms. Y. (the cousin of the beaten female student) posted a video of the incident on social media, hoping that the authorities would clarify the matter.

“A neighbor accidentally saw this video. Seeing that the person being beaten looked like T., he showed it to me. After watching it, I was shocked to see T. being beaten continuously by the group,” Ms. Y shared.

After watching the video, T. was asked by his family and told them that this incident happened about a month ago. That was not the only time he was beaten up.

T. was beaten up by a group of people, the video later went viral.

It is worth mentioning that when the incident happened, there were many male students there, but instead of stopping it, a male student stood behind and kicked T.

Initially, the family said that the incident originated from online comments, and the group that beat T. were not classmates at the same school.

After the incident happened to his son, Mr. NNH (father of T.) was very upset. Worried that his son would continue to be beaten, he reported the incident to the Dak Mar Commune Police, hoping to deter the incident strongly enough so that it would not happen again.
