According to the report of the People's Committee of Huu Lung district, from June 21 until now, continuous heavy rain has caused the water level of Trung River, Thuong River and streams to rise.

By the morning of June 23, the Trung River water level reached alert level III, causing many roads, underground bridges, and streams to be deeply flooded, cutting off traffic. The entire district had 39 flooded areas, 5 landslides, and 11 villages with a total of 480 households isolated.
Authorities have urgently evacuated 41 households from the danger zone. The floods have also submerged nearly 350 hectares of rice and crops, many of which are in the process of being harvested and are at risk of being completely lost. More than 25.5 hectares of fruit trees and aquatic products in Nhat Tien commune (Huu Lung district) have been affected.

Ms. Duong Thi Hanh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Huu Lung District, said that there have been no recorded casualties, however, rescue and response work is still being urgently deployed. The district has placed barriers and warning signs at flooded underground bridges, prohibiting vehicles from passing through, and arranged forces to be on duty 24/7 to ensure safety.

At the same time, Bac Son district was also severely affected by heavy rain. According to the district's Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue, 3 people were injured, 33 houses were damaged by landslides, 134 houses were flooded, and nearly 551 hectares of agricultural land were flooded. Many roads were damaged by landslides, and state and people's property was seriously damaged.
Notably, Tien Hau village (Nhat Tien commune) was completely isolated due to flooding. In Noi Hoa village (Bac Quynh commune), a block of rock about 15m3 rolled down the mountain onto a house, injuring one person and damaging property.

Faced with the complicated developments of floods and rains, the authorities of Bac Son and Huu Lung districts have mobilized all local forces to support people in evacuating, overcoming consequences, warning dangerous areas, and being ready to respond if the situation continues to worsen.
