The 2025 National Press Award "For the Cause of Vietnamese Education" is organized by the Ministry of Education and Training to select and award authors and groups of authors with outstanding press works on the field of education and training published and broadcast by central and local press agencies within the prescribed time. Education and Times Newspaper is the permanent unit of the Award.
The award is held to honor authors with many excellent press works on the education career; the contributions of typical collectives and individuals to the education and training career.
Thereby, propagating and spreading the results and achievements of the education sector in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland; discovering typical advanced examples; encouraging and motivating teachers and education managers to continue to join hands, be unanimous, and contribute more to the cause of education and training.
Overview of the press conference and launch of the 8th National Press Award "For the Cause of Vietnamese Education" in 2025.
Create conditions for journalists to exchange professional experience, contributing to improving the effectiveness of information and propaganda activities in the field of education and training.
The award is for press works published in press forms licensed by the Ministry of Information and Communications (now the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), published domestically and abroad; posting and broadcasting time from September 5, 2024 to September 4, 2025.
Time to receive works: From the launch date to September 30, 2025.

The closing and award ceremony will be held on November 15, 2025 (expected).
Solution structure:
1 Special Prize received a Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Education and Training.
Prizes for each category include: 1 First prize, 2 Second prizes, 3 Third prizes and a number of Consolation prizes.
Outstanding character award in award-winning work (2 characters).
Prize value:
- Logo of the National Press Award "For the Cause of Vietnamese Education".
- Certificate of Ministry of Education and Training
- Cash prizes: Special Prize 60 million VND; First Prize 30 million VND; Second Prize 15 million VND; Third Prize: 10 million VND; Encouragement Prize 5 million VND.
The outstanding character in the winning work will receive the "For the Cause of Vietnamese Education" Journalism Award logo and a gift (or cash) worth 10 million VND.
Consolation Prize: The Organizing Committee will consider and decide, depending on the actual situation of each year of organization.
