On December 3, Comrade Vi Ngoc Bich, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, attended a Party cell meeting in Khe Tien village, Dong Van commune, Binh Lieu district. Also attending was Comrade Ly Van Binh, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the Binh Lieu District People's Council.
Khe Tien village Party cell has 18 party members (including 4 probationary party members). In November, the Party cell's Executive Committee focused on directing the implementation of socio -economic development, national defense and security tasks in the village. Khe Tien village has 70 households with 309 people, of which 26 are near-poor households. During the month, the Party cell's Executive Committee directed people to harvest winter-spring rice and mobilized people to plant autumn-winter crops such as potatoes and vegetables. People are interested in forest care and protection, preventing the cutting down of upstream forests and protective forests. In the new rural construction program, the Party cell directed propaganda and mobilized people to donate land and trees on both sides of the road. To upgrade and expand the road, the people agreed to support and implement the construction. In terms of ideology, party members and people in the village all believe in the leadership of the Party cell. The people join hands to carry out well the campaigns and emulation movements, actively work and produce. Social order and safety are ensured, and organizations and unions operate with quality and efficiency.
At the meeting, Khe Tien village Party Cell evaluated the results of November's work, deployed tasks for December, and discussed and contributed opinions to build the Party Cell's Resolution, focusing on a number of tasks and solutions in Party building, socio-economic development, implementing new rural construction, and ensuring security and order in the coming time.
Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Vi Ngoc Bich, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, highly appreciated the achievements of Khe Tien Village Party Cell in the past time. He hoped that in the coming time, Khe Tien Village Party Cell would continue to mobilize people to actively plant forest products such as star anise and cinnamon to increase people's income, and at the same time, mobilize people to develop tourism, especially community tourism in the locality; focus on building a strong and comprehensive Party Cell, promote the sense of responsibility and exemplary role of Party members, contributing to building a "4 good" Party Cell. On the basis of building a "4 good" Party Cell, continue to protect and maintain border security and sovereignty , maintain solidarity among the people and ensure security, order and social safety in the village. December 15 is the election day for village, hamlet and neighborhood heads. He suggested that the village Party Cell focus all conditions for the election day and prepare for the Party Cell Congress after the election of village and hamlet heads.
