The recognition of the Yen Tu-Vinh Nghiem-Con Son-Kiep Bac complex by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage is not only a historical milestone affirming the noble values of Yen Tu but also opening up opportunities for international development.
In particular, the world heritage title is expected to create a big boost for Yen Tu tourism in particular and Quang Ninh tourism in general to break through.
In order to preserve, promote and spread the value of Yen Tu World Heritage, in the fourth quarter of 2025, Yen Tu ward plans to organize the festival "Yen Tu - Autumn Zen Colors" with a series of attractive cultural, sports and tourism events.
Specifically, the "Yen Tu - Autumn Zen" Festival will open at the end of September, with special art programs.
Previously, from July 15 to early September, there will be activities to celebrate the Party Congresses at all levels, the event of the Yen Tu-Vinh Nghiem-Con Son and Kiep Bac relics and landscapes being recognized by UNESCO as World Cultural Heritage, including launching a contest to create a logo for the ward; organizing the announcement ceremony of Khe Song-Thac Bac tourist site, launching digital tourism products, VR360 virtual reality tours of the historical relics of Hang Son Temple and Pagoda, Ho Mountain Cave - Xep Bang Mountain Cave associated with tourism stimulus activities in 2025; organizing the Yen Tu Ultra Trial Run "Discovering Heritage - Spreading the Essence".

From September to December, there will be key activities during the festival, including artistic creations about Yen Tu in autumn, "Yen Tu Autumn" photo contests; poetry and music competitions and performances about Yen Tu; exhibitions of artworks about Yen Tu; lantern making contests; lantern processions associated with the Mid-Autumn Festival; traditional and ethnic art programs of the Dao Thanh Y people; campfire exchanges, Mid-Autumn lantern processions, combined with flower lantern processions and releasing.
In particular, the "Yen Tu Heritage - Touching the Heritage Area" race is scheduled to be held on November 15-16. The race is expected to attract thousands of athletes to participate and experience activities at Yen Tu.
In addition, the ward also organizes programs to introduce the unique cultural features of the Thanh Y Dao people in Yen Tu ward such as art exchanges; performances reenacting the New Year's worship ceremony of the Thanh Y Dao people; performances reenacting a part of the Thanh Y Dao people's initiation ceremony - a National Intangible Cultural Heritage.
In addition, resort guests and tourists will also be able to participate in a series of unique activities at the foot of Yen Tu mountain such as the "Dawn on the top of Dong Pagoda" experience tour, "Journey following the footsteps of King Tran Nhan Tong", the "Dieu am Yen Tu mountain" art performance program, the "Quintessence of Vietnamese culture" music show; the "Legend of Nuong Village" tour.
In addition, visitors can also experience horse riding services; shooting plastic bullets with bottle caps; archery; participating in folk games; visiting and experiencing the countryside market and Yen Tu vegetarian cuisine.
The festival “Yen Tu - Zen Autumn Colors” not only diversifies cultural-spiritual tourism products, but also promotes the ideological value of Truc Lam Zen associated with the sustainable development of the relic site and Yen Tu tourism brand. Thereby, preserving and promoting the value of Yen Tu World Cultural Heritage, contributing to promoting and stimulating tourism in the area.
Over the past 10 years, Yen Tu has had nearly 3,000 billion VND of socialized capital from enterprises investing in construction, completing synchronous technical infrastructure, traffic, service systems, promoting technology application, digital transformation in management and promotion, increasingly meeting the needs of tourists for sightseeing and relaxation.
Thanks to that, every year, Yen Tu welcomes millions of domestic and foreign tourists to visit and worship, accounting for 60% of the total number of tourists in the spiritual tourism category in Quang Ninh.

Yen Tu is also a tourist destination with the second highest number of visitors after Ha Long Bay World Natural Heritage. Becoming a World Cultural Heritage is a driving force to preserve and develop Yen Tu, bringing Yen Tu closer to tourists.
In 2025, Yen Tu Ward aims to welcome over 2 million visitors. To achieve this goal, the ward takes Yen Tu as the focus to develop spiritual tourism, while continuing to preserve and promote the values of Yen Tu World Heritage, spreading the image of Yen Tu more strongly to domestic and foreign tourists.
The ward will also continue to diversify products, improve the quality of existing tourism products and services, organize the Yen Tu Autumn Festival, contributing to promoting the depth of the heritage value, increasing the attraction and experience for visitors; focus on developing types of spiritual cultural tourism, eco-tourism, resorts, experiences, Dao community tourism...
In addition, promote tourism propaganda, promotion and advertising in many forms; coordinate to attract strategic investors to implement large-scale tourism and service projects in the area./.
