To date, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Investigation Agency has prosecuted a total of 318 defendants related to violations in the field of vehicle registration with 11 charges.

According to Ho Chi Minh City Police, these violations are systematic and organized from a number of leaders of the Vietnam Register, the Department of Motor Vehicle Inspection to the Directors of many registration centers, causing especially serious consequences for society.

Expanding the case, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Investigation Agency promptly reported to the Ministry of Public Security to propose that the specialized State management agency implement a series of solutions to improve the effectiveness of State management of motor vehicle registration activities.

Specifically, exempting first-time motor vehicle inspections, extending inspection intervals, decentralizing authority associated with inspections, and strictly controlling inspection activities for localities...

These solutions contribute to gradually tightening management of motor vehicle inspection activities, improving vehicle safety and protecting human lives; ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of people and businesses.

Currently, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department continues to investigate and expand the case to strictly handle it according to the provisions of the law.
