Focus more on propaganda work on the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day

In addition to the nine assigned tasks, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh requested the Propaganda Subcommittee of the 1st Government Party Congress to focus more on propaganda work on the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh suggested that, in addition to the nine assigned tasks, the Propaganda Subcommittee of the 1st Government Party Congress should focus more on propaganda work on the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day.

On the afternoon of August 5, at the Government Headquarters, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Government Party Committee, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh, Head of the Propaganda Subcommittee of the 1st Government Party Congress, term 2025-2030, chaired the 3rd meeting of the Subcommittee.

Attending the meeting were Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh; Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung and members of the Propaganda Subcommittee.

At the meeting, on behalf of the Standing Office of the Subcommittee, Member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission of the Government Party Committee, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung reported on the results of propaganda work in July and the key tasks of the Subcommittee in the coming time.

Accordingly, the Subcommittee has issued Working Regulations, Operation Plan, Notice of assignment of members' tasks, Decision to establish the Subcommittee's Working Group. At the same time, it has issued: Photo exhibition plan; film making plan "Building an honest, creative and successful Government Party organization to achieve the goals of the new era of the Vietnamese nation"; report on the results of propaganda work since the 11th Central Conference of the 13th tenure up to now, the work to continue to be implemented from now until the 14th National Party Congress;...

Minister Nguyen Van Hung also reported specifically on the key tasks before, during and after the Government Party Congress that need to be focused on implementing. In particular, before the Congress, making a documentary film "Building an honest, creative and successful Government Party to achieve the goals of the new era of the Vietnamese nation", building a photo exhibition, preparing art programs to welcome the Congress, organizing press conferences, etc.

After listening to the opinions of the Subcommittee members, concluding the meeting, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh highly appreciated the efforts of the members and the Standing Committee of the Subcommittee in focusing on directing and implementing the requirements and tasks; affirming: "For the 9 tasks that we have agreed to assign, you have made great efforts and proactively implemented them effectively with very positive results."

At the same time, the Permanent Deputy Prime Minister said that the Subcommittee has performed well its tasks and propaganda work for the Congresses of Party Committees directly under the Government Party Committee and that there are currently 20 Party Committees directly under the Government Party Committee that have not yet held their Congresses. He requested that the Subcommittee continue to promote propaganda for these remaining Party Committees; effective propaganda for the Congresses of Party Committees directly under the Government Party Committee is also propaganda for the Government Party Congress.

In addition to the 9 assigned tasks, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh requested the Subcommittee to focus more on propaganda work on the National Achievements Exhibition with the theme "80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025); emphasizing that this is an exhibition of special importance, affirming the achievements of the Party, the country, the nation and also the achievements of the Government; Party organizations under the Government Party Committee must carefully prepare the content and participate responsibly in the exhibition.

The Permanent Deputy Prime Minister also noted that the products displayed at the National Achievements Exhibition as well as the photo exhibition before the Government Party Congress must be carefully and elaborately prepared, have a truly influential effect, and must leave a deep impression and strong impression on the viewers.

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, 80 major projects will be inaugurated and started nationwide. The First Deputy Prime Minister requested the Subcommittee to focus on directing and propagating this content; propaganda here must be in-depth propaganda, in addition to general propaganda about the event, there should be articles analyzing and reflecting in-depth and comprehensively on the significance of each project and work for the country's socio-economic development and for people's lives.

The Permanent Deputy Prime Minister also noted that the products displayed at the National Achievements Exhibition as well as the photo exhibition before the Government Party Congress must be carefully and elaborately prepared, have a truly influential effect, and must leave a deep impression and strong impression on the viewers.

At the same time, the Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to coordinate with the Vietnam News Agency to organize the reproduction of photos at the photo exhibition and display them effectively at Vietnamese representative agencies abroad, thereby contributing to promoting the image of the country, its people and its socio-economic achievements to international friends./.
