The training course was attended by over 130 students who are teachers from high schools in the province. Of which, 33 students are from high schools; 98 students are from primary and secondary schools. During 4 days (August 17-20), students were given instructions by lecturers from the Provincial Center for Cinema and Culture, and were taught how to stage xoè performances, folk dances, folk dances and basic street dances; experience in arranging formations, changing formations when performing in unison, etc. At the end of the training, students will have a practice session and perform a report on the performances they have learned.
The training course aims to preserve, disseminate, transmit and promote the unique values of folk songs, folk dances and traditional music of ethnic minorities in the province; raise awareness and responsibility of students and teachers in preserving and promoting traditional cultural values. At the same time, strengthen information and communication in many forms to introduce and promote the image of local cultural heritage, contributing to creating unique tourism products, attracting and appealing to tourists to Dien Bien...
