TCBS paid 1,283 billion VND in taxes in 2023, completed additional payment of 3.38 billion VND

According to a document from the General Department of Taxation dated June 14, Techcom Securities Joint Stock Company (TCBS) completed paying an additional VND 3.38 billion in taxes to the state budget, raising the total tax paid in 2023 to VND 1,283 billion.

Previously, TCBS was named in the Top 50 of 1,000 enterprises (V1000) paying the largest taxes in Vietnam for 3 consecutive years 2020 - 2022, announced by the General Department of Taxation in October 2023.

The General Department of Taxation determines the V1000 ranking list based on the annual corporate income tax payment to the state budget of enterprises.

The General Department of Taxation said that the 1,000 enterprises on the list contributed up to 58% to the total corporate income tax revenue.

TCBS is in the Top 50 of 1,000 enterprises (V1000) paying the largest taxes in Vietnam for 3 consecutive years 2020 - 2022

In the same 3-year period (2020 - 2022) recorded as the largest tax payer in Vietnam, TCBS aims to pioneer digitalization to optimize customer experience. TCBS pursues a different business model compared to traditional securities companies, which is to not have brokers but invest in core capabilities in fintech, focusing on customer experience.

The implementation of the Zero Fee transaction fee policy, free selection of beautiful account numbers, along with the most attractive margin loan price policies on the market from only 7.89%/year for customers who have never had a loan at TCBS has helped the Company's securities brokerage market share continue to accelerate dramatically, climbing to the Top 3 securities companies with the largest stock brokerage market share reaching 6.56% on the HoSE floor and top 2 (7.8%) on the HNX floor. TCBS leads the market in outstanding margin loans at the end of the first quarter of 2024 with VND 19,087 billion, an increase of 107% over the same period in 2023.
