On January 16, in Hanoi , the Central Council for Evaluation and Classification of OCOP products met, evaluated and scored the classification of OCOP products. Thanh Hoa has one more product "Le Gia Fish Sauce - Special Essence 40N" of Le Gia Food & Trading Service Company Limited (Hoang Hoa) recognized as meeting the National 5-star OCOP standard.
Le Gia fish sauce products are recognized as meeting the National 5-star OCOP standard.
In this round of selection, there were 52 products nationwide proposed for recognition as 5-star National OCOP. Through strict criteria, only 28 products were recognized, including the product "Le Gia Fish Sauce - Special Essence 40N".
The Central OCOP Product Evaluation and Classification Council worked on January 16, 2025.
“Le Gia Fish Sauce - Special Essence 40N” is fermented for 24 months using the traditional pressing method. Selected ingredients include fresh fish from Thanh Hoa sea, 2-year-old salt and absolutely no preservatives or additives.
It is known that products recognized as National 5-star OCOP must meet many criteria, including promoting local agricultural product linkage chains, demonstrating indigenous cultural characteristics, meeting high standards, and having regular export products.

This is the second 5-star OCOP product of Thanh Hoa, also a product of the same entity, Le Gia Food & Trading Service Company Limited. Previously, the first 5-star OCOP product of Thanh Hoa, “Le Gia Shrimp Paste”, was recognized in 2020.
