On April 7, a leader of the People's Committee of Tan Lap Ward (Buon Ma Thuot City, Dak Lak ) confirmed that an iron bar from a construction site on Nguyen Van Cu Street fell on a passerby, injuring the victim.

The incident occurred at 288 Nguyen Van Cu Street. This construction has a license and complete related documents.

Currently, the Ward People's Committee does not have specific information about how the iron bar fell on the injured woman.

Local authorities will inspect and remind construction sites to ensure labor safety.

Previously, on Facebook, a clip from a car's dash cam was posted, recording the scene of a long iron bar from a house under construction suddenly falling and hitting the head of a woman riding a motorbike on Nguyen Van Cu Street.

The car's hood was punctured.

Fortunately, the iron bar only missed the woman's head, causing her and her motorbike to fall onto the road.

Not stopping there, the iron bar continued to hit the front of the moving car, causing a hole in the hood.

The woman riding the motorbike was injured and was taken to the hospital for a health check-up by local people.

According to the reporter's records, at 288 Nguyen Van Cu Street, there is a house under construction with a 4-storey design.

The ground floor was fenced off with corrugated iron and there were no construction workers. According to people living nearby, the incident of the falling iron bar happened around 5pm on April 5.
