Specifically, Nguyen Ngoc Tuyet Nhi (living in Son Qui ward), a student at Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry. Since childhood, she lived with her mother and older brother. When she was 12 years old, her mother died in a traffic accident; the two siblings lived with their grandmother (her grandmother was old and had poor health). Her brother dropped out of school to work for hire.
Phan Van Thinh (living in An Thanh Thuy commune), 11th grade student at Tien Giang High School for the Gifted. His family has no land to cultivate, his parents have unstable jobs.
