In Hai Duong , Marie Curie Secondary and High School ( Hai Duong City) is the first school to let students have Saturday off.
Accordingly, from the beginning of November, Marie Curie Secondary and High School will start allowing students to have Saturday off every week.
Students in grades 6, 7, 8, 10 and 11 study from Monday to Friday and have Saturday off. Grades 9 and 12 will continue to study as usual due to the need to review for final exams.
To change the study time for students, Marie Curie Secondary and High School has arranged the timetable to ensure the educational program according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Specifically, the school increased the regular school hours by one afternoon for students in grades that have Saturday off.
Giving students Saturdays off is to reduce academic pressure as well as increase rest time for students and teachers.
