Bus route number 2 from Song Hau park to Phong Dien town operates from 2020

From July 15, 2020, Can Tho put into operation bus route No. 2 from Song Hau park to Phong Dien town.

Phong Dien is a district located in the southwest suburbs of Can Tho city, about 10km from the city center, known as a locality with famous historical relics and tourist areas such as: Ong Hao victory, Lo Vong Cung victory, Truc Lam Zen Monastery...

Bus route No. 2 from Song Hau Park to Phong Dien town was put into operation from July 15, 2020.

In order to facilitate people's travel, on July 15, 2020, the Urban Traffic Management and Operation Center coordinated with Phuong Trang Passenger Transport Joint Stock Company - FUTA Bus Lines to put into operation the inter-provincial bus route No. 2, Song Hau Park - Phong Dien town center (Phong Dien district).

Route number: CT-02; distance: 38 Km.

Itinerary: Can Tho International Airport - Vo Van Kiet - Mau Than - Tran Hung Dao - Hung Vuong - Tran Phu - Le Loi - Song Hau Park - Ninh Kieu Bridge - Phan Dinh Phung - Nguyen An Ninh - 30/4 - Mau Than - 3/2 Street - Nguyen Van Linh - Nguyen Van Cu (extended) - DT923 - Phan Van Tri - Phong Dien Town - DT926 - Ong Hao Victory Historical Site and vice versa.

Total number of trips: 20 trips/day; frequency 35-40 minutes/trip, from 5:30 am - 5:00 pm/day.

Ticket price:

- One-way ticket price: 25,000 VND/passenger.

- One-way ticket: calculated according to passenger travel distance:

+ Distance from 0km - under 20km: 15,000 VND/Passenger/Trip;

+ Distance from 20km - to the end of the route: 25,000 VND/passenger/trip;

- Priority subjects for reduction: for the elderly, meritorious people, and disabled people:

+ Distance from 0km - under 20km: 11,000 VND/passenger/trip;

+ Distance from 20km - to the end of the route: 18,000 VND/passenger/trip;

+ One-way ticket price: 18,000 VND/passenger.

- Tickets for students: price 7,000 VND/trip (for all stages and entire route).

This is the Can Tho inner-city bus route using the B40 bus line (25 seats, 15 standing seats) of THACO , manufactured in 2020, with automatic doors, equipped with air conditioning, wifi, support seats for the disabled, meeting EURO 4 emission standards.

In particular, the bus system has put into operation the advanced technology of "automatic ticket printing by POS machine" which is faster and more convenient for passengers.

The re-launch of the digital bus route aims to improve service quality for people, connect and transfer passengers with existing bus routes.
