For the quality of future population

No longer is "two children enough", each family now has the right to have children. This is an important highlight, demonstrating respect for citizens' right to self-determination, ensuring a better quality population future.

* Ms. Kim Thoa Adrong, Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union:

The revised Population Ordinance has many important new points, directly affecting the lives of women and families. In response to that requirement, the Provincial Women's Union plans to develop a comprehensive and flexible communication plan to help women promptly grasp and properly implement the new regulations.

Accordingly, we will integrate the content of the Ordinance into the activities of Project 938 and Project 8, focusing on propaganda through accessible forms such as: training, seminars, group communication, dramatization, community forums... The content will focus on reproductive health care, rights and obligations of parents, access to health services, gender equality in the family - practical issues for women... Thereby, contributing to spreading the revised Population Ordinance to every family, every village.

* Ms. Trinh Thi Hang, self-employed in Buon Ma Thuot City:

Having children is a big deal, directly affecting family happiness and the future of children. Each family has different circumstances, different incomes, different health conditions, so it is impossible to apply a general framework to all. Giving autonomy to couples is completely reasonable, showing that the State has been listening to people's opinions and making changes to suit social reality. This helps improve the quality of life of the whole family, children receive the best care, thereby developing more comprehensively. I hope that, after being promulgated, the revised Population Ordinance will focus on and more effectively implement population policies such as support for reproductive costs, maternal and child health care, as well as policies to support education and development...

* Ms. Nguyen Thi Trang, teacher at Tay Nguyen Ethnic Boarding School (Buon Ma Thuot City):

Giving couples the right to decide on the number and timing of their children will create more favorable conditions for arranging their lives and work. In fact, each family has different economic circumstances, health conditions and life goals, so they should be flexible in choosing the right time to have children and the number of children. For civil servants and public employees - who often have a stable work schedule according to the public service regime - this flexibility helps them be more proactive in balancing between professional responsibilities and family care.

Along with autonomy, families also need to be fully supported with information and services on reproductive health, child rearing, as well as accompanying social policies to ensure quality of life. If implemented synchronously, this change will not only benefit each family, benefit the rights of children in the families of civil servants and public employees, but also contribute to a more sustainable and quality population development in the future of the whole society.
