In his closing speech, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province Duong Tat Thang emphasized that after 6 days of exciting and dramatic competition, with the spirit of solidarity, honesty and nobility of sportsmanship , the 2025 Asian Pencak Silat Championship held in Ha Tinh province has officially ended and was a great success.

The tournament is not only a place for Pencak Silat athletes to compete at the highest level, but also an opportunity to strengthen friendship and promote cultural and sports exchanges between countries in the region and around the world .

The organizing committee awarded medals to athletes, trophies to teams with achievements at the tournament and rewards to excellent referees.

The Vietnamese team won the First Team Cup, the Malaysian team won the Second Team Cup, and the Indonesian team won the Third Team Cup.

The 9th Asian Pencak Silat Championship 2025 is held on a continental scale, taking place from July 24-30 at the Ha Tinh Provincial Sports Gymnasium.

The tournament attracted athletes from 10 countries in Asia including: Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, India, Laos, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

The teams are divided into two groups, tanding and seni, competing in 32 events.

In the competition group, there are 24 events corresponding to 24 weight classes, including 13 men's weight classes (45kg, 50kg, 55kg, 60kg, 65kg, 70kg, 75kg, 80kg, 85kg, 90kg, 95kg, 110 kg, over 110kg) and 11 women's weight classes (45kg, 50kg, 55kg, 60kg, 65kg, 70kg, 75kg, 80kg, 85kg, 90kg, over 100kg).

There are 8 performing rights contents: men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, men's team rights, women's team rights, men's creative rights, women's creative rights./.
