Ban Nguyen Commune has 21 families of meritorious people, poor households, near-poor households, and households in difficult circumstances that need help. With the support of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at all levels, the commune has mobilized people to support in money or working days, materials for families to build and repair houses, stabilize their lives, and feel secure in production. To date, 21 houses have been completed, with a total construction cost of over 7.4 billion VND. Of which, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at all levels supported over 1.57 billion VND, the source from the commune was nearly 300 million VND; the source from residential areas and sponsorship from organizations and individuals was over 1.44 billion VND.

Mr. Nguyen Van Chuong's family in Zone 6, Ban Nguyen Commune is a poor household, in extremely difficult circumstances. In March 2025, his family received support to build a new house. Mr. Chuong emotionally said: My family has been living in a dilapidated house for a long time, only dreaming of having a new house to avoid rain leaks and stabilize our lives. With support from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at all levels, my family has built a 75m2 house, with a total cost of 260 million VND. In addition, associations and residential areas have supported essential household items such as fans, tables, chairs, beds, refrigerators, etc. Up to now, my family has a new, sturdy house, so we no longer have to worry every rainy season...
Happy and moved to live in a new, spacious house, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tinh in Zone 1, Ban Nguyen Commune shared: My family is a near-poor household, with the guidance and enthusiastic help of the local government and the support of benefactors, my family's old house was seriously degraded, now it has been replaced by a new house with an area of 75m2 with a total construction cost of over 250 million VND. Of which, the Fatherland Front Committee at all levels supported 90 million VND, Agribank Vinh Phuc II Branch supported 60 million VND, Pho Noi Textile and Garment Infrastructure Development Joint Stock Company - Vietnam Textile and Garment Group supported 50 million VND and Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Huyen's family, Zone 3 supported 50 million VND...
Ms. Tinh, as well as other households in the commune that have had their temporary and dilapidated houses demolished and have received support for new construction and repairs in recent times, are all happy and excited to receive the attention of local leaders, socio- political organizations, unions, businesses and philanthropists.
Up to this point, the entire Ban Nguyen commune has completed 100% of the plan with 19 newly built houses and 2 repaired houses. Of which, 6 households are meritorious people; 11 poor and near-poor households; 4 households in especially difficult circumstances. The houses of the households after being supported for new construction and repair have ensured "3 hard" - hard foundation, hard frame, hard roof and have a minimum area of 50 m2 or more.
Today, Ban Nguyen Commune not only has new, more solid houses but also has a more sustainable trust of the people in the Party and the government. This is a vivid proof of the success of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, aiming at the goal of sustainable poverty reduction and new rural construction.
