3 blocks in Phuoc Hoa ward officially have new names

Accordingly, block 1 will be renamed block 7, block 2 will be renamed block 8, and block 3 will be renamed block 9.

The name change is to concretize Resolution No. 1241 dated October 24, 2024 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of district and commune-level administrative units of Quang Nam province for the period 2023 - 2025; including the merger of the entire natural area and population size of Phuoc Hoa ward into An Xuan ward, Tam Ky city.

After the merger, the new An Xuan ward will have 9 blocks, of which 6 blocks of the old An Xuan ward will be kept intact and 3 blocks 7, 8, 9 of Phuoc Hoa ward will be added, which have just been renamed.
