5 groups and 53 individuals won the "Reading Culture Ambassador" contest in 2025

(GLO)- On the afternoon of July 28, the Organizing Committee of the "Reading Culture Ambassador" contest in Gia Lai province (old) announced the results of the 2025 contest, with 5 groups and 53 outstanding individuals winning prizes.

The contest was organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with the Department of Education and Training of Gia Lai province, launched in March 2025. After the implementation period, the contest received more than 22,000 entries from all schools in the province (before the merger).

There are 5 collectives winning the "Reading Culture Ambassador" contest this year, of which 3 units with the most contestants include: Pleiku High School, Pham Hong Thai Middle School, Nguyen Van Troi Primary School (Pleiku ward); 2 units with the most contestants winning first prizes include: Vo Thi Sau Middle School (Dak Doa commune) and Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted (Pleiku ward).

Regarding individual awards, the Primary level has 16 awards; Secondary school has 15 awards, High school has 13 awards. At the Primary level, the 2 first prizes belong to the students: Phan Tran Uyen Nhi (Kim Dong Primary School, Ia Grai commune), Tran Kim Ngan (Nguyen Hue Primary School, Ia Grai commune).

The two first prizes at the secondary level were awarded to Bui Thi Chau Anh (Hung Vuong Secondary School, Ia Grai Commune); Nguyen Hoang Kien (Vo Thi Sau Secondary School, Dak Doa Commune). The two high school students who won first prizes were: Hoang Le Vi Na (Nguyen Hue High School, Dak Doa Commune), and Le Bao Tran (Hung Vuong Specialized High School).

There are also 9 thematic awards for the best book review; best short story to encourage reading; and most impressive plan/initiative to develop a reading culture.

The summary and award ceremony for the winning groups and individuals is expected to take place in mid-August 2025 in Pleiku ward.
