According to information from Ha Long International Passenger Port, up to now, 60 cruise ships have registered to dock, expected to bring about 90,000 tourists to Quang Ninh.
These cruise ships come from many countries such as: England, France, Germany, America, China... Besides the luxury cruise ships that have arrived in Ha Long such as: Celebrity Solstice, Mein Schiff 6, Westerdam, there will be many new cruise ships such as: Brilliant Lady, Luminara, Mediterranea... arriving at the port.
It is expected that the number of visitors to Quang Ninh from cruise lines will increase by 30% compared to the total number of cruise passengers in 2024. This is the result of the proactive efforts of the Quang Ninh Tourism Industry to connect and work with cruise lines, with innovative policies, creating favorable conditions to attract this special stream of visitors.
At the same time, the units have also built attractive products, suitable for the tastes of the international tourist segment by sea, high spending, aiming to develop Ha Long into an international cruise tourism center, making Quang Ninh a tourism center connecting the region and the world.
Quang Ninh Province is considered by international cruise lines to be a destination with a great competitive advantage in the cruise tourism market share in the country and Southeast Asia, thanks to its possession of the World Heritage - Natural Wonder of Ha Long Bay, unique experiences of culture, and local cuisine. In particular, Quang Ninh is currently the first and only locality in Vietnam with a specialized international cruise port that can accommodate many large-scale international cruise ships at the same time.
