The Journey for Children's Smiles 2024 is organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Youth Union, the Ho Chi Minh City Artist Volunteer Team in collaboration with the Dak Nong Provincial Youth Union and the Dak Nong Provincial Border Guard Command.

MC Quynh Hoa told Tuoi Tre Online that during the two days of the program (June 22 and 23), the Ho Chi Minh City Artist Volunteer Team presented 500 gifts to children from poor and near-poor households and orphans in Quang Khe commune, Dak G'long district.

The radiant joy of the people is the motivation for artists to not be afraid of distance or difficulty to carry out many charity activities.

Memorable art night
Quynh Hoa said many teachers at Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Primary School (Dak Nong) were so moved that they were speechless when the school was given 10 desktop computers to serve the school's teaching and learning activities. Only when the computers were installed did they believe it was true.
Accompanying the program was designer Viet Hung, who donated fabric to make ao dai and gifts to 68 disadvantaged teachers of Dak G'long district.
Perhaps the most memorable event on this trip was the cultural night, with all kinds of art performances to serve the people.
From music and dance to magic, comedy, fashion shows. Nearly 1,000 people participated in the show, including many ethnic minorities.
Perhaps this is a special music night, gathering the most artists that the people here have ever seen.

In addition, the team also coordinated with the Dak Nong Provincial Border Guard Command to perform art performances and award scholarships to 25 disadvantaged ethnic children in the "Border Guard Adopted Children" project.
The total cost of this program is 700 million VND, contributed by artists and mobilized relatives to contribute.
