Vietnam Martial Arts No. 07 will return on the evening of August 2 with 9 pairs competing for belts in 9 different weight classes at GMA Arena - Nha Be commune, Ho Chi Minh City (old district 7).
The "hottest" match, according to experts, was the match between Bui Truong Sinh and Indonesian boxer Brando Mamana. The "tiger" from the archipelago country had many provocative words for Truong Sinh during the weigh-in on the morning of August 1. This tactic made the match even more exciting.
This is the first time Brando has come to Vietnam to compete in MMA. The 1998-born fighter has had more than 20 major and minor matches in his career and has enough experience to go abroad. In front of him is Bui Truong Sinh, the current champion of the Golden Rooster weight class, the one who is blocking his way to the "International Martial God".
In another international clash, Cambodian boxer Rin Saroth will face Thai boxer Chayut Rojanakat.
Showing his superior sharpness by choking Tanawat Rachinnarit, Rin Saroth proved his international class in front of the Vietnamese audience at GMA 05. This time, he aims for the title of "Regional Martial God" in the Tiger weight class.
The internal competition between two Vietnamese boxers will be more attractive when the candidate for the 2024 GMA belt, the reigning champion of the Vietnam MMA Club Cup - Luu Duc Manh returns with a match against "mountain fighter" K-Pa Thuan.
Both possessing striking techniques, with a "cutting and cutting" style from a Muay Thai foundation, Luu Duc Manh and K-Pa Thuan promise to bring a fiery duel.
Besides the main matches, Vietnam Martial Arts No. 07 will witness a series of matches competing for the "Regional Martial Arts" titles in different weight classes.
The winners will face off against the "Vietnamese Martial God" titleholders later this year to select the first "International Martial God" champions in the tournament's history.
