Recently, the AFC announced the prize money for the teams participating in the 2023 Asian Cup. Accordingly, the total prize money for the 24 teams participating in the tournament is about 14.8 million USD. This prize money does not increase compared to the 2019 Asian Cup in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Each team participating in the 2023 Asian Cup will receive 200,000 USD (nearly 5 billion VND). Therefore, the Vietnamese team will receive at least 200,000 USD when participating in this playground. If they advance further, the bonus of Coach Troussier's team will increase.

The four semi-finalists will each receive $1 million. The runner-up will receive $3 million, while the champion will receive $5 million.

The 2023 Asian Cup Finals will feature 24 teams, divided into six groups of four teams each. The top two teams from each group will advance. The four third-placed teams with the best results will advance to the knockout stages. The 16 teams that advance from the group stage will advance to the round of 16.

At the 2023 Asian Cup, the Vietnamese team is in Group D with Japan, Iraq and Indonesia. Coach Troussier's team will meet Japan (6:30 p.m. on January 14), Indonesia (9:30 p.m. on January 19), and Iraq (6:30 p.m. on January 24).

At this time, the Vietnamese team is gathering at the VFF Youth Football Training Center. The whole team will leave for Qatar on January 5. On January 9, the Vietnamese team will play a friendly match with Kyrgyzstan, before finalizing the official list.
