At the same time, it has closely coordinated with related units such as the Border Guard, Customs, Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism to exchange information, review tours and destinations that pose a risk of insecurity and disorder. Foreigners residing in the locality for a long time are also periodically checked to detect signs of violations.

Recently, at some key tourist destinations such as Sa Pa, Bac Ha, Y Ty, there have been cases of spontaneous tour guides, impersonating travel companies, and cheap tour scams. The Foreign Security Department has coordinated with relevant agencies to promptly handle and prevent these violations.

In addition, the security forces also advised on handling social networking sites impersonating tourism businesses to defraud customers, negatively affecting the reputation of Lao Cai tourism. They also checked the operating conditions of travel businesses and accommodation establishments with foreign elements, and guided units to fully comply with legal regulations, especially in receiving and serving international guests.
