Bac Ai organizes the "Folk Arts" contest in 2023

On August 30, Bac Ai district organized the 2023 "Folk Arts" competition. The competition had the participation of 9 groups with nearly 300 actors and artisans from the communes participating in 4 genres: singing, dancing, musical instruments and traditional costumes.

The contest categories are carefully invested in from content, musical instruments, costumes to performance style, thereby expressing love for the homeland, love for the nation; recreating the daily life of the Raglai people... Through the contest, it aims to arouse the cultural and artistic movement among the masses, contributing to preserving, promoting and inheriting the rich and precious cultural and folk arts of ethnic groups, contributing to building an advanced Vietnamese culture with strong national identity. This is also an opportunity for the delegations to exchange, learn from experiences, introduce cultural values, customs, traditional festivals, and costumes of their ethnic groups. At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to the delegation of Phuoc Hoa commune.
