Deadline for applications to the Vietnam Digital Transformation Award 2025

In order to facilitate agencies, businesses, and units to complete their dossiers, the organizing committee of the Vietnam Digital Transformation Award 2025 decided to extend the deadline for receiving dossiers until August 8, 2025.

The Organizing Committee of the Vietnam Digital Awards 2025 (VDA 2025) has just announced an extension of the deadline for receiving applications for the award. Specifically, the deadline for receiving applications has been extended to August 8, 2025, instead of the old deadline of July 30, 2025.

In the past time, in addition to receiving applications for the award, the VDA 2025 Organizing Committee received many requests to continue to extend the application period.

Localities, agencies and administrative units said that the consolidation of the apparatus and stabilization of the organization during the merger and organization of two-level local governments had a certain impact on the progress of preparing documents to participate in the award.

Therefore, the extension of the application deadline is to facilitate agencies, businesses and units to complete their applications and maximize the results and initiatives achieved. This helps to improve the quality of application documents, reflecting a stronger, more substantial and comprehensive picture of digital transformation.

The Vietnam Digital Transformation Award has been held annually since 2018. This is a prestigious event of the Vietnam Digital Communications Association (VDCA), under the auspices of the Ministry of Information and Communications (now the Ministry of Science and Technology).

VDA 2025 is one of the practical activities in response to Resolution 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, as well as the 2025 theme of the National Committee on Digital Transformation: "Comprehensive digital transformation to develop the digital economy, creating new momentum for economic growth".

In addition, the program is also a meaningful activity in response to National Digital Transformation Day (October 10), contributing to raising awareness among people and the whole society about the role, meaning and benefits of digital transformation.

Over 7 seasons, VDA has reached out to more than 21,000 domestic and foreign agencies, organizations and enterprises, attracting nearly 2,200 applications. The award honors more than 400 outstanding state agencies, digital transformation enterprises and typical digital technology products and solutions.

The Vietnam Digital Transformation Award 2025 has 5 categories including:

- Outstanding digital transformation state agency : Awarded to agencies in the political system: Party, Government, National Assembly, socio-political organizations at all levels with outstanding digital transformation achievements from traditional models to a management and working environment based on digital technology platforms.

- Outstanding digital transformation enterprises and public service units : Awarded to enterprises, public service units, and social-professional organizations in many fields that have successfully applied digital technology to change management, production, business models, and digital transformation, bringing high efficiency.

- Outstanding digital technology products, services and solutions : Awarded to digital technology products, solutions and services, AI technology applications, new technologies that bring excellent efficiency in practice, solving practical problems and needs of life.

- Digital transformation products and solutions for the community : Awarded to organizations and individuals who own digital technology solutions, apply digital solutions to daily life, bring high efficiency to the community, develop digital citizens, digital culture; support people with disadvantaged capacity, people with low purchasing power, for activities, events, movements with high social significance, deep humanity.

- Honoring individuals : Honoring individuals with many achievements and great contributions to digital transformation in Vietnam.
