The "Shelter of Love" was handed over by the Provincial Women's Union and the sponsor to the family of member Sruk Ja Ko, village 5, Dam Rong 2 commune, a female member with difficult housing circumstances.
After 1 month of construction, the house "Warm House of Love" of Ms. Sruk Ja Ko's family is now complete. completed, with a level 4 house structure, area of 50m2 including 2 bedrooms, 1 living room and bathroom. The house was built with a total cost of 200 million VND, of which, the support fund from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province was 60 million VND and the sponsor was 50 million VND, the remaining amount was borrowed by Ms. Sruk Ja Ko's family from relatives.
“Shelter of Love” is a regular activity of the Lam Dong Provincial Women’s Union, demonstrating the spirit of mutual love and support, helping and supporting women members in difficult circumstances to gradually improve their lives and contribute to poverty reduction in the locality. Since the beginning of 2025, the Provincial Women’s Union has mobilized sponsors to support 14 “Shelters of Love” for poor women members and women in difficult circumstances in the province.
This is also a practical activity of the Provincial Women's Union to care for poor women members, women in difficult circumstances; respond to the plan to eliminate temporary houses, dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households in Lam Dong province.
Also on this occasion, the Provincial Women's Union and the sponsoring unit donated milk to children in difficult circumstances in village 5, Dam Rong 2 commune. Thereby contributing to spreading sharing and love to the community.
