Guangxi Provincial Party Secretary to visit and work in Vietnam

At the invitation of Vietnamese Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son, Secretary of Guangxi Province (China) and Secretary of the Zhuang Autonomous Region Party Committee Liu Ning will visit and work in Vietnam from August 26-30.

During the visit, Mr. Liu Ning will hold talks with Minister Bui Thanh Son, leaders of ministries, departments, sectors and localities, to discuss solutions to promote bilateral relations between Guangxi and Vietnamese localities. Issues to be discussed include economic cooperation, trade, investment, and people-to-people exchanges.

Responding to the press today (August 22), Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Pham Thu Hang said that Mr. Liu Ning's working trip will contribute to strengthening relations between Vietnamese localities and Guangxi province, bringing benefits to the people of both countries, and deepening the comprehensive cooperative relationship between Vietnam and China.
