The three subjects prosecuted and temporarily detained include: Nguyen Nhan Trung (born in 1991, residing in Tan Phu ward, Dong Xoai city), Cai Van Nhat (born in 1999, residing in Thuan Phu commune, Dong Phu district) and Trinh Quan Giao Lam (born in 1991, residing in Tan Hiep commune, Hon Quan district).
Accordingly, after many days and nights of ambush and surveillance, on the evening of June 20, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Binh Phuoc Province Police coordinated with the mobile police force, Dong Xoai City Police and Tien Hung Commune Police to suddenly raid and inspect a house in Hamlet 3, Tien Hung Commune.
At this time, the police discovered Trung and a young girl behind the house.
Upon inspection, police discovered in Trung's pants pocket several plastic bags containing yellow tablets and white crystals.
Working with the police, Trung confessed that the above tablets were ecstasy-type drugs, and the white crystals were synthetic drugs.
The girl who went with him was Trung's girlfriend but she did not know about her boyfriend's crime.
Searching the rented house urgently, the police seized many types of drugs and related objects and documents.
Expanding the investigation, the police arrested Cai Van Nhat and Trinh Quan Giao Lam for illegal drug trafficking.
Through appraisal, the total amount of drugs seized by the police was more than 5kg of various types of drugs including: MDMA, Methamphetamine, Kentamine, Morphine...
The case is being further investigated by the police.
