At the conference, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Pham Viet Quan, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, announced the decisions of the Military Region 9 Command, mobilizing and appointing new positions of An Giang Provincial Military Command (after merging Kien Giang Provincial Military Command and An Giang Provincial Military Command) including the Provincial Military Command, regional defense commands; adjusting positions of officers of Team K92 and Regiment 893.

Organizing the handover of decisions on the transfer and appointment of cadres on this occasion is one of the regular tasks of the Provincial Military Party Committee. Thereby, implementing the strategic policy of our Party and State on merging provinces, dissolving district levels, implementing two-level government and establishing regional defense commands. At the same time, the transfer and appointment of cadres on this occasion also contributes to helping cadres and officers improve their professional capacity, revolutionary spirit, and be ready to receive and complete all assigned tasks.
