In recent years, Tay Ninh province has mobilized all resources from the provincial budget, the central budget and resources from enterprises (in the form of PPP) to invest in technical infrastructure projects, especially traffic infrastructure, to gradually complete the traffic network, contributing to the socio -economic development and national security and defense of the province.

Boi Loi Road is the main route connecting directly from the center of Tay Ninh city to the new urban area, Ba Den Mountain National Tourist Area. According to the plan, the route starts at the intersection with 30/4 Street (Lam Vo intersection) and ends at DT.790 (gate to Ba Den Mountain National Tourist Area). The route has a total length of 7.6 km. Currently, the section from Lam Vo intersection to Dai Dong intersection (5.1 km long) has been approved for investment by the Provincial People's Committee Chairman.

The remaining section, from Dai Dong intersection to the gate of Ba Den Mountain National Tourist Area (about 2.5km long), is a 15m wide asphalt concrete road (4 lanes), with a 6m wide red gravel shoulder (3m x 2 sides), and a 21m wide roadbed. After many years of use, many locations on Boi Loi Street have now deteriorated and many potholes have appeared. The area the route passes through is a densely populated residential area, the main axis connecting the center of Tay Ninh city to Ba Den Mountain tourist area, so the traffic volume on the route is very large, often congested during holidays and Tet. On the other hand, the route currently has 4 lanes, not enough to accommodate a large number of vehicles, so local traffic congestion often occurs.

To ensure safe and smooth traffic, promote tourism development, and contribute to the socio-economic development of the province, according to the proposal of the Department of Finance, Tay Ninh province agreed to allocate more than 600 billion VND to upgrade and expand Boi Loi road (from Dai Dong intersection to the gate of Ba Den Mountain National Tourist Area), the capital source is allocated from the provincial Party Committee reserve fund (production and business source).

Investment scope, starting point at Dai Dong intersection, intersecting with DT.784; ending point at the gate of Ba Den Mountain Tourist Area, about 2.5km long. Scale of 6 lanes, 23m wide asphalt concrete road surface, 8m wide sidewalk (each side 4m), 31m wide roadbed, compensation, site clearance of 60m wide and other items such as completing drainage system, trees, lighting and traffic safety...

The total estimated investment of the Boi Loi Road Upgrading and Expansion Project (from Dai Dong intersection to the gate of Ba Den Mountain National Tourist Area) is over 727 billion VND, of which compensation and site clearance costs are nearly 559 billion VND; construction costs are over 136 billion VND; management and consulting costs are over 10 billion VND; contingency costs are nearly 22 billion VND. The project will be implemented in the 2025-2028 period with the Tay Ninh Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board as the investor.

In the tourism destination plan of Tay Ninh province for the period 2023-2025, the province identifies Ba Den Mountain National Tourist Area as one of the key destinations, bearing the typical cultural imprints of the land and people of Tay Ninh in particular, an attractive destination for eco-tourism, cultural and spiritual tourism in the Southern region.

The number of tourists to Ba Den Mountain increases during holidays and Tet.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in the first 5 months of 2025, Tay Ninh welcomed more than 3.2 million visitors to tourist areas and attractions in the province, up 4.1% over the same period, reaching 56.2% of the plan. Total tourism revenue reached VND 2,380 billion, up 48.8% over the same period, reaching about 88% of the plan.

The allocation of funding for key projects, the driving force to gradually complete the urban traffic system, drainage to create a synchronous connection axis for key areas. The project will complete the important traffic axis running from 30/4 Street, Dien Bien Phu Street, Provincial Road 784 to the gateway to Ba Den Mountain National Tourist Area. This is an important condition to synchronize the infrastructure between existing routes, maximize the effectiveness of previous public investment, create spillover effects, expand development space, form urban areas to promote tourism development into a spearhead economic sector, creating a premise for local socio-economic development.
