Training and fostering knowledge and skills in foreign information in Ia Lop commune, Ea Sup district in 2024

Attending the Conference were representatives of the Department of Information and Communications of Dak Lak province, Ea H'Leo Border Guard Station, representatives of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ia Lop commune; Heads and deputy heads of departments, branches and mass organizations of the commune; comrades who are party members of the commune Party Committee; the local working team of Ea H'Leo Border Guard Station; prestigious people among ethnic minorities; village and hamlet officials (Party cell secretaries, village and hamlet chiefs); organizations and enterprises in Ia Lop, Ea Sup district.

At the Conference, delegates were informed by reporters from the Department of Information and Communications and Ea H'Leo Border Guard Station about the socio-economic development situation of the province and some outstanding results in implementing foreign information work in the area; directions and tasks of foreign information work in the coming time; the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws on the task of protecting territorial sovereignty , national border security, building a people's border defense...

The conference is an activity to implement the task of foreign information in ethnic minority and mountainous areas under the National Target Program on socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the period 2021-2030, the period 2022 - 2025; Coordination Program No. 1166/CTr-STTTT-BCHBDBP, dated July 6, 2022 between the Department of Information and Communications and the Provincial Border Guard Command in information, communication and foreign information work in the province's border areas for the period 2022 - 2030.

Through information, communication and foreign information work to raise awareness for Party committees, authorities and people of all ethnic groups in border communes about the State's guidelines, policies and laws on foreign information and ethnic work, thereby helping people see their role and responsibility for national security; clearly understand the policy of building a peaceful and friendly border with neighboring countries, while raising vigilance against plots, tricks and peaceful evolution strategies of hostile forces; firmly protect border security and sovereignty, fight against distorted arguments, and divide the solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and neighboring countries, and between the ethnic groups on both sides of the border.

According to the Plan, after Ia Lop commune, on December 18, 24, and 25, the Department of Information and Communications of Dak Lak province will continue to coordinate with the Provincial Border Guard Command to organize a conference to foster and train knowledge and skills in foreign information in 2024 in the communes of Ia Rve, Ea Bung (Ea Sup district) and Krong Na commune, Buon Don district./.
