Singer Nguyen Kieu Oanh returns with ballad

(Dan Tri) - Nguyen Kieu Oanh said that recently, she has tried many genres of music and many directions, while also filtering the audience's opinions.


Recently, Nguyen Kieu Oanh caused a stir with the song Con em anh bo cho ai , which was shared on social networking platforms with tens of millions of views. In addition, she also owns 2 hits Mojito and Om anh duoc khong .

Marking her return, the female singer released the song Say De Quen, marking the milestone of 10 years in the profession. Talking about the reason for choosing ballads to make a comeback, she explained: "I chose ballads because I see my own story in the songs. More importantly, many audiences feel the story that I convey in those gentle and profound lyrics."

Nguyen Kieu Oanh believes that with ballad music, each person has their own way of expressing it. Although she can still sing upbeat music, she remains loyal to ballads.

"I think no matter what genre I sing, I will be compared, especially when I do covers. I struggled a lot when covering hit songs and was compared a lot. So if I get compared when I sing ballads, I'm used to it. If I get compared to stars, I feel it's an honor," the singer shared.

Kieu Oanh said she is happy because recently, the songs she released have been loved by the audience. That has become the singer's motivation.

Talking about the nickname "queen of sad music" that fans gave her, Kieu Oanh shared more: "I am very happy about this because it proves that I am on the right track. This is the musical direction I chose and the audience also finds it right and loves me."
